3.                  Discussion and Appropriate Action on the May 17, 2010 Meeting Minutes (PDF)

 

Hearing no changes Commissioner Tommy Adkisson approved the May 17, 2010 Meeting minutes as distributed.  

 

 

All items under the Consent Agenda are acted upon collectively unless opposition is presented, in which case, the contested item will be considered, discussed and appropriate action taken separately.

 

4.         Discussion and Appropriate Action on Amendments to the MPO’s Budget     Document (FY 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program)

 

5.         Discussion and Appropriate Action on the Appointment of the Pedestrian Mobility Advisory Committee Chair

 

Mayor Chris Riley moved and Mr. Mario Medina seconded the motion to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion was unanimously approved.

6.         Discussion and Appropriate Action on the Contract Award for Subtask 3.8 Traffic Signal Re-timing Study V (Audio)

 

Gloria Arriaga moved and Ms. Mary Briseño seconded the motion to authorize the MPO Director to negotiate and execute a contract for the conduct of the Traffic Signal Re-timing Study V.  The motion was unanimously approved.

 

 

7.         Discussion and Appropriate Action on the Flexing/Transfer of Surface Transportation Program – Metropolitan Mobility (STP-MM) Funds for the Fredericksburg Road Bus Rapid Transit Project to the Federal Transit Administration at the Request of VIA Metropolitan Transit (Audio)

           

Mayor Chris Riley moved and Mr. Mario Medina seconded the motion to flex $ 28, 000,000 of Surface Transportation Program – Metropolitan Mobility (STP-MM) funds programmed for VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Fredericksburg Road Bus Rapid Transit Project to the Federal Transit Administration. The motion was unanimously approved.

At any time during the meeting of the MPO Transportation Policy Board, the Board reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time to discuss any of the matters listed on the posted agenda, as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (consultation with attorney), Section 551.072 (deliberations about real property), Section 551.074 (personnel matters), and Section 551.086 (economic development).
