3.                  Discussion and Appropriate Action on the Appointment of State Delegation Members to Serve on the MPO Transportation Policy Board (Audio)

Councilman John Clamp moved and Commissioner Kevin Wolf seconded the motion to re-appoint Senator Jeff Wentworth to the Transportation Policy Board for the term January 2010 through December 2010. The second member of the State Delegation to the Transportation Policy Board for the term January 2010 through December 2010 will remain vacant at this time. The motion was unanimously approved.

 

 

4.         Discussion and Appropriate Action on the December 7, 2009 Meeting Minutes (PDF)

 

Gloria Arriaga moved and Councilwoman Jennifer Ramos seconded the motion to approve the December 7, 2009 meeting minutes. The motion was unanimously approved.

 

 

All items under the Consent Agenda are acted upon collectively unless opposition is presented, in which case, the contested item will be considered, discussed and appropriate action taken separately.

Councilman John Clamp moved and Councilwoman Jennifer Ramos seconded the motion to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion was unanimously approved.

Councilman John Clamp moved and Councilwoman Jennifer Ramos seconded the motion to appoint Commissioner Kevin Wolff as the primary and Mr. Isidro “Sid” Martinez as the alternate to serve on the Alamo Area Council of Governments’ Alamo Regional Rural Planning Organization. The motion was unanimously approved.

 

 

10.             Discussion and Appropriate Action on Conducting a Study of Toll and Non-Toll Projects and Amending the MPO’s Program of Planning Studies [FY 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program] (Audio); Part II (Audio)

Commissioner Kevin Wolff moved and Councilman John Clamp seconded the motion to issue a Request for Proposals. Furthermore move to authorize the working group to review the submitted proposals, negotiate terms, reduce the scope if necessary, award and execute the contract based on financial ability. Further to amend the FY 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program to reflect the adopted project scope. Also recommend favorable TRACS Review with no negative comments.  The motion was unanimously approved.

 

 

11.             Discussion and Appropriate Action on the Development of the FY 2011-2014 Short Range Transportation Plan [Transportation Improvement Program] (Audio)
