MPO's are regional agencies created by Federal law to conduct a cooperative, continuous and comprehensive transportation planning process. This process enables our metropolitan area to receive over $200 million annually in state and federal transportation funding. Your participation in this process is important to ensure that your federal and state gas tax dollars are spent wisely and according to the region's most urgent needs. We invite you to browse our web site to see what is planned to improve your transportation system and, in the process, your quality of life.
